EGX is an electrical-grade lubricant and corrosion protector designed for components exposed to moisture, condensation, salt and demanding operating environments. It helps preserve electrical connections, lubricate compatible moving parts and reduce corrosion-related reliability problems.
EGX penetrates around connectors, terminals, joints and surface irregularities, helping displace moisture from corrosion-prone areas. After application, it leaves behind a persistent lanolin-based film that repels moisture, resists wash-off and protects the underlying metal against corrosion.
The residual protective film is tested non-conductive up to 70 kV and salt-spray tested to AS 2331.3.1. EGX is suitable for battery terminals, connectors, switches, plugs, wiring looms, junction boxes, motors, generators and starters, as well as other compatible electrical components.
Electrical equipment should be isolated before application and allowed to dry fully before being returned to service.
EGX combines electrical protection with compatibility across most metals, rubber and plastics, making it suitable for industrial machinery, marine equipment, vehicles, air-conditioning systems and food-production facilities.
